MyON was officially launched on March 9, 2021, and the ParScians were trained and briefed on the interface of the new digital program.

The launch of the program is per the memorandum of the Department of Education.

This is also for the preparation for the establishment of the digital library platform for the division reading program.

With MyON, students can now have an access to MyON which serves as an online library that caters to more than 6000 books.

MyON is not only for students and but, also for teachers to enjoy multidisciplinary wide of learning. 

The said application had unique features meant to uplift the reading proficiency of Filipino children. These features are as follows:

  3. Unlimited access
  4. Supports collaboration
  5. Fosters success

The program promotes the improvement of Filipino children’s reading proficiency since based on the data collected during the third quarter of 2019, the Philippines scored 340 points in reading proficiency.

It was also found out that 80% of Filipino students around the age of 15 did not reach the minimum level of proficiency.

After its successful launch, ParScians can now access MyON for their assignments and other school-related tasks.

The program is still being implemented division-wide in chosen schools, from Elementary to Junior High School up until today.
