Paranaque Science High School’s newly-elected faculty club officers took an oath as they reached triumph, on April 15. 

The election of officers started on April 8 through Google Forms and had another set of elections on April 12 for the position of the President and Vice President. 

“In this light, I would like to express my deepest appreciation to you my fellow teachers for giving that trust to us. Being nominated is already a great honor, more so being elected,” Ms. Mercedita Flores Ramos, the new faculty club president said on her Facebook post on the same day.

The new set of officers include Mrs. Theresa Baita as Vice President, Ms. Ma Irene Inventor as the secretary, Mrs. Mary Ann Dioquino as the treasurer, Mrs. Eloisa Candido-Cruz as the auditor, and Ms. Jennifer Panelo for the PRO position. 

It is then followed by the board members, Mrs. Almira Ursaga, Ms. Lei Angelene Bautista, Mrs. Lorna Santos, and Ms. Airah May Surigao.

Ms. Ramos also stated in her post that “the success of our Faculty Club is rooted in our combined efforts and mutual support to one another.”

“We, your newly elected Faculty Club Officers, commit ourselves to the service of our organization and our institution,” she added. 

Meanwhile, the oath-taking ceremony was led by Ms. Zenith Glorioso via Google meet. 

It started at 4:00 PM, with a doxology and a nationalistic song, followed by the opening remarks of ParSci’s School Head, Mrs. Marilou A. De Jesus.

The program then went on with the farewell speech of the outgoing faculty club president, Mr. Jayson Sombrero. 

With that, the new set of faculty club officers was announced, following the recitation of oath and the newly-elected president’s acceptance of the challenge. 

The program, ended with the closing remarks of Ms. Wilmarie Jacqueline Montes, Assistant to the principal. 

As the ceremony bid its farewell, the list of the newly-elected faculty club officers was posted via The Momentum Page later that afternoon.
