Last February 1-3, 2021, E-ntramurals led by ParSci Athletics Club was held online by the ParSci community with the theme  “Refining Camaraderie, Defying Boundaries”.

The E-ntramurals is an online version of the traditional intramurals that conforms to the new normal setup due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

According to the club’s president, Aubrey Valdez, “The main goal of the E-ntramurals was to refine the spirit of camaraderie and create social ties among ParScians through virtually collaborative activities.”

Different e-sports such as Valorant, Call of Duty, and Mobile Legends joined by different grade levels were streamed on Facebook.

Group dance, group singing, digital poster making, and teaser making were also part of the virtual contests.

These were presented with the awards during the closing ceremony of E-ntrams on February 3, 2021, Wednesday.

The new normal set-up indeed caused struggles for the club and its officers since numerous limitations were needed to be taken into consideration.

“Personally, I’m proud of what we’ve done with the event, it was totally new to what we were used to but we managed to pull it off successfully even on our first try. We’ve gained a lot of feedback from the event which made us reflect on how we could do better in the future,” said Valdez.

Before the opening of the event on February 1, 2021, ParSci Athletics Club started posting on their Facebook Page their PAC Wellness projects.

The PAC Wellness Projects shows different home-based sports conditioning and training programs indicated for different sports.

ParSci Athletics Club wants to continuously encourage ParScians to become holistically well-rounded individuals that uphold sportsmanship and camaraderie through sports.
